Project summary: The Accessibility CD was created to provide awareness of accessibility issues in educational technology for faculty, IT staff, and academic administrators. It covers the federal laws mandating accessibility and teaches techniques for creating and delivering accessible course materials. The project was developed for the Southeast Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) and the University of Florida Dean of Students Accessibility Office and the ADA Compliance Office in collaboration with the CITT developed the content.

Technology and Software: The content on the CD is delivered as web pages created in Dreamweaver. Graphics were developed using Adobe Photoshop and animations were created using Adobe Flash.

Pedagogy and Technology: This CD is intended as a resource that can be used in a face-to-face class or alone as a reference whenever specific issues needed to be addressed. Each topic is first explained in an overview then illustrated by multimedia examples and links to online resources.
