Faculty Media Lab
Lab Consultants
The lab is staffed by motivated and courteous UF graduates and students with computer experience. Consultants can answer questions about a wide variety of software issues ranging from updating presentations and creating graphics to editing video and updating web sites. The consultants are available for assistance Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Equipment
PC and Mac Computers are available on a walk-in basis as well as specialized hardware and software.
Video Editing Station
For capturing, editing, and publishing digital and analog video.
Sound Studio
A sound-proofed room for recording, editing, and converting digital audio.
Document and Slide Scanners
For scanning images, slides, and converting printed documents to text.
Equipment Reservation
- Faculty may reserve CITT sound studio and video editing stations up to 7 days in advance, for a maximum 4-hr period.
- Faculty, Graduate students with a Teaching Assignment, and Post-Doctoral Associates may reserve equipment 24 hours in advance.
- Non-reserved equipment is always available on a walk-in basis.
