gbVis - WebCT Gradebook Plugin
gbVis is a Javascript plugin that you add to WebCT. It makes working with the gradebook easier. gbVis does three things:
- Inserts a "current grade" column in the gradebook. "Current grade" is defined as the student's current earned points divided by the possible points for the assignments completed so far.
- Color-codes each student's name in the WebCT gradebook by current grade: green for A, light-green for B, yellow for C, and so on. That way you can get a quick feel for how the class is doing so far.
- Color codes individual assignments the same way. If a column is all red, you know most students did badly on that assignment.
gbVis runs in your browser; it dosn't communicate with the WebCT server at all. See included readme.txt for installation instructions and known issues.
