What is it?
A response group is a group of students who critically respond to questions, case studies, presentations, and work samples. Response groups are often found in writing classrooms.

Assessment:
- Instructors can use group response to determine the success of a lesson or assignment.
- Instructors can use group response to evaluate student comprehension.
Communication:
- Students must work with others collaboratively in order to establish responses.
Critical Thinking:
- Participation in response groups encourages students to evaluate the performance of themselves and others

How do I get started?
- A response group is a group of students who critically respond to questions, case studies, presentations, and work samples.
- When assigning a response group it is important to inform the students as to the appropriate conduct of the group.
- When assigning a response group it is important to include a rubric to establish what the student must accomplish in their response group.
