Surveys

What is it? image of a survey

A survey is a method of collecting quantitative data about a population. Surveys are usually standardized in such a way as to eliminate bias. For example, the response to one survey question should not alter a response to another question.

There are many methods of conducting surveys. For example, some surveys are given to a particular group to gather data on that group. Another method would be to give the same survey to a group during two different periods of time in order to find variation in responses.
